Catarman Church Ruins

The famous Gui-Ob church is situated in Barangay BonBon, 16 kilometers away from the center of Catarman town. The only remain of the church is its adobe walls, belfry and convent that serve as the living proof of the wrath of nature. The Volcanic eruption has wiped out town of Catarman.
Sunken Cemetery

The large cross built in the center of the sea marks the existence of a cemetery that was swept into the sea when the Old Vulcan erupted in 1871. You can see a perfect glorious sunset over the ocean and is also an ideal place for snorkeling and diving. Locals usually hold annual fluvial procession in honor of the sunken graves of their forefathers and offer thanks giving for a bountiful harvest.

Old Sto. Rosario Church of 1882

This is one of the unique churches of Camiguin. It was originally built in 1882 using coral stones, but the years have taken its toll, making renovations inevitable to strengthen its structure.

Via Cruzes - Old Volcano Slope (Walk Way to Mt. Vulcan)

This is where you can find life size statues depicting the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. During Lenten season, travelers and local Camiguinions go trekking to pray and walk their way up to the last station. At the last station, you will see a sepulcher that is carved and chiseled out of volcanic rocks.

The above mentioned are just some of the many historical places that you can see in this island of fire. The island also prides a lot of world class accommodations where you can relax your tired mind and body after a day of fun and adventure.

One of these Camiguin resorts is Bahay Bakasyunan sa Camiguin. They provide world class facilities and superb accommodation like no other. They have their mini gym, game room, swimming pool, restaurant and other exciting treats that await you.
